About

Superintelligent Game Studios is a free course for game makers aged 10 to 12, often working with a parent. You join Kai and Remy's studio, with Bolt the helper robot, and follow two games: Hyper Shards, a space shooter for the web, and Garden Defense, a free phone game. Each starts as a vibe-coded prototype and grows into a real game business.

Every lesson stands alone, so you can start anywhere. Lessons are short cards with checks and a challenge, and each one ends with the date it was last fact-checked and the sources it was checked against.

The 11 stages

  1. The vibe-coded disaster: Why a game made fast with AI breaks, loses work and gets cheated.
  2. Build a real workshop: Planning, the code editor, AI prompts, the command line and Git.
  3. Make it feel great: Game design, movement, art, sound, juice, accessibility and playtesting.
  4. Connect to the cloud: Logins, cloud saves, leaderboards and keeping player data safe.
  5. Make it official: Your company, copyright, licences, trademarks, player agreements and insurance.
  6. Make money: Ways to earn, pricing, payments, ads, sales tax and playing fair with players' money.
  7. Ship it!: Websites, app stores, Steam, consoles and launch day.
  8. Get found: Store pages, trailers, festivals, Discord, short videos and search.
  9. Keep players: Events, updates, rewards and reading the numbers.
  10. Grow the studio: Unit economics, hiring, publishers, crowdfunding and grants.
  11. Investors and exits: Shares, valuation, pitching, term sheets and selling a studio.
